About eighteen months ago he joined the A.M.F. whilst living at Spring Creek where with his father he worked on a dairy farm, but in January last he secured his transfer to the A.I.F. His unit was later sent North, where he met his death. (from a local newspaper 1942). Private Robert Keith John BEGG died accidentally on 29 Aug 1942 in Queensland Australia age 19. |
